Vision Statement
Christ Church Unity is a diverse community of Practical Christianity
where everyone is unconditionally accepted and encouraged to grow
in spiritual consciousness.
Volunteer Opportunities
The opportunities to serve at Christ Church Unity reflect our vision.
We are always open to new ways in which to serve within our church
community and our world.
Youth Ministry Team
Volunteers teach or assist in teaching one Sunday a month. They
are tasked with teaching positive self esteem and Truth teachings to
children of all ages.
Prayer Chaplains
Prayer is a very important part of our church. Our Prayer team prays
with individuals and as a group after Sunday Services. They are also
available for hospital or home visits and phone calls. Training is
provided.
Kitchen Angels
Our Kitchen Angels provide us with delicious food and beverages for
fellowship time immediately following Sunday Services. Each person
is scheduled to bring goodies one Sunday out of the month and to
help with preparation and clean-up.
Out reach Opportunities
We strive to make a difference in our community. Throughout the
year we engage in various projects to benefit the community. We
give Teddy Bears to a local Shelter for Valentine's Day. We give
food and clothing to an organization which helps the homeless. We
have sent goodies to soldiers stationed oversees.
Special Services
Christ Church Unity holds special services such as Christmas Eve
Candle Lighting Service, New Year's Eve Burning Bowl Service, and
Easter Lily service. Please see the Calendar for times and dates.
Rev. Sheryl Padgett also performs Weddings, Holy Unions, Funerals,
Memorial Services, and Renewal of Vows personalized to your
special needs and circumstances. Please call the office at (706)
